Caring for your Arabella Silk Artwear

If stained, remove the stain within hours and spot wash a small inconspicuous area to ensure your detergent is suitable. A mild soap such as a dedicated silk detergent or wool wash is recommended.

As you wear your silk more often you will need to wash the complete item. Gently immerse your silk in tepid water with a small amount of detergent for delicates and carefully agitate by hand. Do not soak the silk or rub when wet. Replace the soapy water with cool fresh water to rinse. Do not wring but gently roll up damp silk in a towel to remove excess. Hang and dry away from sunlight or iron dry. Avoid drying silk over metals. Do not wash your silk in hot water.

To Iron; set to lower temperature and place a thin cotton cloth over the silk so that the heat of the iron touch the cotton cloth first.
